Baristas prepare and serve espresso coffee and other hot beverages to customers in cafes, coffee shops, restaurants or dining establishments.

Day-to-day

• Prepare, serve and sell a variety of coffee beverages such as lattes, cappuccinos and other espresso-based drinks
• Clean and maintain bar service area, coffee-making area and espresso machine
• Collect payment for sales and operate cash registers
• Promote services and products
• Sell light snacks
• Select and grind coffee
